The New Mandarinate School offers public education in the humanities and social sciences. Lecture VI: Part I in our 10-part lecture series is entitled Environment, Nature, Climate Emergency. Part I of this two-part lecture presents the geological and biological underpinnings of the ecological crisis and explores various philosophical approaches and practical responses to the polycrises that threaten the planet.

Open to all interested adults. Lecture booklets will be available for sale on the night and food and refreshments will be provided.
